The Philco model 610 series uses a 5-tube 3-band (BC, 2.3-2.5 MHz, and 5.7 – 18 MHz) chassis. There are four distinct models with different cabinet styles.

Model 610B (1935-36) is a shouldered tombstone. Model 610F (1935-36) is a floor-type console with a tulip design for the speaker opening. Model 610PF (1935-36) is a radio-phonograph in a similar console cabinet as 610F, but with a roughly rectangular speaker opening with three vertical bars, and slightly taller than 610F to accommodate the phonograph under the top cover. Model 610T (1936) is a table radio with a round left side, with a speaker opening that combines a round lower half with several horizontal bars in the upper half, somewhat resembling a small Greek ‘sigma.’

The 37-610 series (1936-37) and 38-610 series (1937-38) were similar in electrical design to the 610 series, but with updated tube types.

The Philco model 45 series uses a 6-tube 2-band (BC and SW 4.2 – 13 MHz) chassis with 2 IF stages. The series includes three individual models with different cabinets.

Model 45C (1934-35) is a compact table radio with a very distinctive design, which is known as one of two “butterfly” models (the other being model 28C) because of the pattern of the speaker grill on the front panel.

There are two consoles in the series. Model 45L (1934-35) is a lowboy with an inverted “Y” in the center of the speaker opening. Model 45F (1935) is a floor-type console with a tulip pattern in the speaker opening.

The Philco model 37-670 series uses an 11-tube 5-band chassis with shadow meter (tuning aid). Band coverage is 530-1600 kHz (BC), 1.58-4.75 MHz, 4.7-7.4 MHz, 7.35-11.6 MHz, and 11.5-18.2 MHz.
